Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael Osbourne (born in Birmingham, England on December 3, 1948) is a singer, musician and songwriter with a career spanning more than forty years of activity. Megadeth

Megadeth is an American heavy metal band led by founder and principal songwriter Dave Mustaine. Megadeth is known for his distinctive guitar style, the peculiar form of singing Mustaine, and the subjects of his lyrics, often recurrent, politics, war, and, more recently, relationships. Two music videos of the band have been censored at the MTV music channel because of alleged issues in favor of suicide [3].
Megadeth is a thrash metal bands most famous in history, as it has sold over 25 million albums worldwide, [4] including nine consecutive platinum albums and seven consecutive Grammy nominations in the category of Best Performance Metal. Through more than 25 active years, Megadeth has had 18 official members, with Mustaine the only permanent member and main songwriter. Megadeth is often mentioned as one of the Big Four thrash metal alongside Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax.

Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath is an English heavy metal band formed in 1968 [4] in Birmingham by Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums). Since then, the band has undergone many lineup changes, with more than twenty-five former members. Formed originally as a rock blues band called Polka Tulk at first and later, Earth, the group sat on the occult and horror lyrics with guitars tuned in a more severe, changing its name to Black Sabbath and getting several gold and platinum the 1970s. As one of the earliest and most influential heavy metal bands of all time, Black Sabbath helped develop the genre with publications such as Paranoid album that was four times platinum. They have sold over fifteen million copies in the United States.
Ozzy Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 to be replaced by Ronnie James Dio, former vocalist of Rainbow. However, Black Sabbath saw how, over the 1980s and 1990s, it took four more vocalists Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen and Tony Martin. The original lineup met in 1997 and released a live album, Reunion, whose song "Iron Man" won the Grammy Award in 2000, thirty years after its original publication in Paranoid. The alignment of the early 1980s consisting of Iommi, Butler, Dio and Vinny Appice met in 2006 under the name Heaven and Hell, a title taken from the Black Sabbath album of the same name.
Lars Ulrich

Lars Ulrich, is a Danish drummer best known as co-founder and co-leader (with James Hetfield) of the heavy metal band Metallica.
Born December 26, 1963 in Gentofte (Denmark), within a family of upper-middle class. Being a tennis prodigy in his youth, Ulrich moved to Los Angeles, California, at the age of sixteen to pursue his education, but instead to continue playing tennis, he decided to battery. After publishing an advertisement in a local newspaper in Los Angeles called The Recycler, he met James Hetfield.
His playing is very varied, ranging from the simple rhythms of rock album The Black Album, to the complex and fast parts in many of the themes of the heaviest Metallica albums like Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning or ... And Justice for All (the latter made some of the most difficult and complex rhythms of all who have the group). It is also recognized as one of the best drummers of all time.

Motörhead

Motörhead is a British band of heavy metal founded on 1975 by the bear, singer and composer, Lemmy Kilmister, that has stayed throughout the years like the unique stable member. Normally denominated like power trio, Motörhead was a great successful at the beginning of years 80 with several simple ones in the British lists of sale. The albums Overkill, Bomber, Ace of Spades, and particularly nonSleep ' til Hammersmith, heavy laid the foundations the reputation of Motörhead like one of the most outstanding bands of the British scene metal. RAMMSTEIN

James Hetfield

He was born on August 3, 1963 in Downey, California (LA County). His childhood was difficult in many ways. His parents, Virgil Hetfield (a truck driver) and Cynthia (opera singer) were members of a religious group of Christian Scientists (Christian Science). For this reason, most Hetfield's childhood revolved around religious practice and its activities.
Under the doctrine of the church to which his family belonged, the use of medicines for curing diseases was forbidden. James's mother died of cancer when he was 16 years, which marked a serious conflict between James and religious dogma practiced by his family and later greatly influence the lyrics of their next works ...
First bands [edit]
James.
In its nine years, James began taking piano lessons. Later, played drums in his brother, David, finally picking up a guitar in his years of puberty. In those years, James formed his first band, Obsession, inspired by bands like The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Venom, among others. Obsession was composed of the Veloz brothers on bass and drums, Jim Arnold on guitar Hetfield on vocals. His friends Ron and Dave Mass McGovney fulfilled the role of roadies, and then join the band as members to the withdrawal of the Veloz brothers.
After moving to Brea, California, James met drummer Jim Mulligan at Brea Olinda High School. During lunch breaks, both trials, scaring fellow guitarists with their loud and heavy sounds hitherto unknown. One day, a student named Hugh Tanner was seen by James and Jim loading parts of a Flying V at school. The three formed the band Phantom Lord, with bearish indicators. The project lasted until the graduation of James, when the moved back to Downey.
At that time, James and his friend Ron McGovney moved to a house slated for demolition, then owned by the parents of McGovney. The house was the perfect place for James and Ron spend the time and rehearse. Ron convinced James to play bass, the band Phantom Lord disbanded, resulting in Hetfield's third band to be called Leather Charm. The only difference with the previous band Leather Charm was that James was no longer playing the guitar and Ron playing bass now, while Tanner and Mulligan retained their original instruments.
The band performing songs dedicated to heavy metal in some festivals and even managed to record a demo. After that, the band began to spread. The first to retire was Tanner, who was replaced by Troy James. Later, drummer Mulligan decided to join a band with more progressive style. In the absence of a drummer, James decided to dissolve his companions finally Leather Charm.

Slayer

Slayer is a heavy metal musical group founded in 1981 by American guitarists Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King in Huntington Park, California. To complete his training, King and Hanneman recruited bassist and vocalist Tom Araya of Chilean origin and Cuban-born drummer Dave Lombardo. The latter has been fluctuating in and out of the band for several years. Slayer rose to fame thanks to the release of Reign in Blood, described as "the heaviest album of all time" by Kerrang!. Thanks to this reputation, the group was included during the early eighties in the Big Four of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax.
Slayer has been strongly criticized by religious groups to be a satanic rock band, because both his lyrics and the album covers topics such as Satanism, violence, murder, serial murderers and war, and has been accused of nazismo.Esta support the latter charge was made because the fans of Jeff Hanneman of collecting material and Nazi-themed lyrics and the song "Angel of Death", which is about the doctor and war criminal Josef Mengele. Metallica

Metallica is a heavy metal band originating in the USA. Founded in 1981 in Los Angeles by Danish Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield, who would join them and Ron McGovney Lloyd Grant. These two musicians were later replaced by guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist Cliff Burton, respectively. Mustaine was fired a year after joining the band due to his excessive addiction to drugs and alcohol, and founded the band Megadeth and was replaced by Kirk Hammett.
